ICA TRAINING COURSES
Improving your knowledge and skills can greatly contribute to making top quality ice creams and the ICA offers training courses on such subjects as ingredient functionality and product formulation. Our training courses are completely independent of any ingredient and equipment suppliers and therefore offer totally impartial help. As a not-for-profit organisation our course fees are kept to the bare minimum needed to cover our costs with most taking place at our offices here in Derby.

RSS Hereford – ICA Member
Free “Introduction to Gelato” demonstration days ideally suited to newcomers to the world of ice cream. RSS Hereford use their range of Telme/Valmar equipment to show you how to make artisan ice cream/fruit ice and how they can help you to make your own. This is a ‘hands on’ informal group demonstration where you will have the opportunity to discuss, ask questions and sample the end product plus gain valuable hints on what you need to operate a successful ice cream parlour.

Antonelli – ICA Member
Antonelli is pleased to offer a selection of ice cream training courses held at the purpose built Antonelli Gelato Academy. Our courses range from helping you to decide if you want to start an ice cream business for novice ice cream makers, to bespoke and specialist courses for the more advanced gelato maker. The courses are designed for small groups to enable question asking and interaction within the group. The Antonelli Gelato Academy has all the equipment and tools you would find in a gelateria and space for gelato making demonstrations as well as providing hands on courses for specific training requirements. Run by our National Technical Manager, Jonnathan Ireland (known to some as Gelato Jonny) we are fortunate to have dedicated staff to support your training needs.
