Depending on your use of our site, we may collect the following:

Ice Cream Expo registration: title, full name, company name, address, postcode, email address, telephone number, fax number, ICA membership number, business type.

ICA members: title, full name, date of birth, address, email address, telephone number, business name, job title, payment information, and information about your preferences and interests.

7. How do you use my personal data?

We use personal data to provide and manage your account and access to our site, to personalise your experience, to supply our products and services, to communicate with you, to send information you have opted in to, and to analyse and improve our site. With your permission we may also use it for marketing, which you can opt out of at any time by writing to dataprotection@ice-cream.org. Third parties whose content appears on our site may use their own cookies; we advise checking their policies.

8. How long will you keep my personal data?

We do not keep personal data for longer than necessary for the purpose it was collected, except where retention is required by law or to protect vital interests.

9. How and where do you store or transfer my personal data?

We do not store financial information. Where we transfer data internationally we use contracts approved by the European Commission, or rely on frameworks such as the EU-US Privacy Shield, to ensure equivalent protection. Contact us for details of the mechanism used for any particular transfer.

We may share your data with other companies in our group, and with third parties who help us deliver our services:

You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time using the link in our emails or at the point of providing your details. You may also register with the UK's Telephone, Corporate Telephone or Mailing Preference Services, though this will not stop communications you have separately consented to.
